Travel Fees
Travel fees are based on the provider selected for your appointment, the clinic location to which that provider is assigned, and the distance from that assigned clinic to your home.
The applicable travel fee is determined by your baby’s age on the date of the scheduled home visit. Your baby’s age is calculated from their date of birth, not the date you book your appointment. Travel fees vary depending on whether your baby is under 2 weeks old, 2–6 weeks old, or 6 weeks or older at the time of the visit.
Travel fees apply to home visits only. No travel fee applies to appointments held at one of our clinic locations.
Travel Zones
At Nurture Lactation, our team of providers serves families throughout the Kansas City metro area. To help us coordinate home visits and determine applicable travel fees, we have divided our service area into designated travel zones based on our providers’ assigned clinic locations and individual areas of service.
Your travel zone and any applicable travel fee are determined by the provider you select, that provider’s assigned clinic, and the distance from that clinic to your home. Because our providers serve different areas of the metro, your assigned travel zone may vary depending on the provider you choose.
Please refer to our service area map to identify the general zone where you live. Final travel fees are based on your selected provider’s assigned clinic and the distance to your home, along with your baby’s age on the date of the scheduled home visit.
