Lactation Consultations

60-90 minutes

In-Home: $200 + $25 travel fee | Clinic: $200 | Virtual: $150 | most* insurances accepted

Lactation consultation to go over anything related to lactation after baby is born. Topics may include:

  • Nipple pain and damage

  • Trouble latching

  • Pumping issues or questions

  • Tongue Tie

  • Weight gain issues

  • Starting solids

  • Weaning

Prenatal Consultations

60 minutes

Clinic or Virtual: $150 | most* insurances accepted

Prenatal consultations are held in my clinic or virtually. We will have a full hour to go over the following:

  • Discuss your questions and goals regarding breastfeeding and/or pumping

  • Provide education on how to breastfeed

  • Review your medical history and how it may impact milk supply and breastfeeding

  • Talk about birth practices and their effects on breastfeeding

  • Share educational materials and links for further learning

This consult is for you if you want to:

  • Prepare for breastfeeding before your baby arrives

  • Learn what to expect in the first hours and days after birth

  • Explore pumping and milk expression options

  • Get sized for the correct flange ahead of time

  • Receive personalized guidance and educational resources to feel confident and empowered

Bottle Refusal Consultation

60 minutes

Clinic Only: $150 | most* insurances accepted

Bottle Refusal consults are held in-clinic only. We will have up to 60 minutes to go over the following:

  • Assessment of oral function and for restrictions which may be impacting baby’s ability to feed

  • If needed, you have the option to go home with a bottle that your baby may be able to take better as trialed in our consult

  • Oral function exercises to help improve function so baby can take a bottle

  • Trial of different bottle nipples

This consult is for you if your baby is experiencing:

  • Bottle refusal (doesn’t matter if it’s breastmilk or formula in the bottle — we work with both!)

  • Leaking/taking in excessive air on the bottle nipple

  • Frustration during the feeding (swatting at bottle, arching back, crying when sees the bottle)

  • Really long or drawn out feedings or fatiguing at the bottle (may look like taking only 1-2oz, then stopping)

Pump Flange Fitting

45 minutes

Clinic Only: $75 | most* insurances accepted

Our Flange Fitting Consultation is a focused lactation visit that evaluates flange size, pump function, and individual anatomy to support comfortable and effective pumping. This service is ideal for clients experiencing pain, nipple trauma, or decreased milk output while pumping, or for those starting pumping and wanting to prevent issues from the start.

  • Personalized flange sizing based on your anatomy

  • Assessment of pumping comfort, pain, or nipple damage

  • Review of your current breast pump and parts

  • Recommendations for optimal flange size and style

  • Guidance to improve milk removal and pumping efficiency

  • Education on proper pump setup and use

  • Support for exclusive pumping, combo feeding, or occasional pumping

A focused session designed to address a specific breastfeeding or pumping concern. Since time is limited, we’ll identify the most important issue to begin with. You’ll leave with a personalized care plan to support your feeding goals.

Start Strong: Newborn Feeding & Care Consultation

Our Start Strong consult is a 30-minute prenatal consultation (virtual or in-person) with Maddie, our Certified Lactation Counselor, designed to help expecting families build a clear plan for lactation and newborn care before delivery.

During this visit, we’ll cover:
• Prenatal lactation planning and what support may look like after birth
• Pump planning and rental options
• What’s included in prenatal care, including flange fitting
• How to choose a pediatrician who supports your feeding goals
• Basic newborn care topics to reduce overwhelm in the early weeks

You’ll also learn about ongoing support available to you, including free quarterly breastfeeding classes taught by IBCLCs across the metro and free postpartum support groups, so you know exactly where to turn once baby arrives.

New Parent Support Call

Our New Parent Support Call is a 15-minute check-in with a Certified Lactation Counselor (CLC) designed for postpartum parents who may be struggling with feeding or newborn care but aren’t sure where to start.

• Common postpartum challenges vs. signs that more support may help
• How a CLC or IBCLC can support your specific concerns
• Recommended next steps, if needed

This call is ideal for new parents looking for reassurance, clarity, and guidance on whether additional lactation or newborn support would be helpful.
