Why Families choose Direct Care
-
Know your package investment before care begins, with payment options available.
-
Select a package with consultations scheduled around important stages of your postpartum journey.
-
Build an ongoing relationship with your lactation care team rather than approaching every visit as a separate transaction.
-
Your care plan can focus on your family's feeding goals and evolving needs rather than being designed solely around insurance reimbursement rules.
-
Whether you are breastfeeding, pumping, combination feeding, bottle-feeding, or navigating weaning, we help you work toward a feeding plan that fits your family.
Nurture Direct Care is an investment in having a plan, knowing what to expect financially, and accessing lactation support during a significant transition for your family.
A Different Approach to Lactation Care
Care centered on your needs, not insurance limitations.
Insurance can be a valuable resource for lactation care. However, covered services, provider networks, visit limits, authorization requirements, and reimbursement policies can vary by plan.
Nurture Direct Care offers a different approach. Rather than structuring your entire care experience around what an insurance plan may authorize or reimburse, you select a package with a defined price and planned consultations.
This model can offer:
Greater predictability when planning your family's care expenses.
A defined series of consultations during your package's support window.
The opportunity to plan support around your feeding goals and changing needs.
A clear understanding of your financial commitment before beginning care.
Direct Care does not guarantee a particular clinical outcome or unlimited access to services. Your package includes the specific consultations and services outlined in your selected agreement.
What about insurance reimbursement?
Nurture Direct Care is a self-pay arrangement. By enrolling, you acknowledge that you are choosing this package rather than submitting the included services to your health insurance for reimbursement through Nurture Lactation.
You are responsible for reviewing the package terms and understanding that insurance reimbursement is not guaranteed. Please review the Direct Care agreement and insurance reimbursement waiver before purchasing.
If you have questions about how this arrangement applies to your specific circumstances, our team can help clarify the package terms before you enroll.
Simple, Transparent Package Pricing
We believe families should understand the cost of their lactation care before getting started. Each Nurture Direct Care package requires a 25% deposit at enrollment to reserve your package. The remaining balance is paid through the installment schedule selected at enrollment, with the full package balance due by the end of the package's applicable term. Your package agreement will outline your deposit, payment schedule, total financial commitment, and expiration date. Before you enroll, please know:
Your deposit is applied toward your total package price.
Selecting installments does not change your total package price.
You remain responsible for the full package balance under the payment agreement.
Appointments and services must be used within the applicable package window.
Unused appointments expire at the end of that window and do not automatically roll over.
The package is a commitment to the selected care plan, not a pay-per-visit arrangement.
Please review your package agreement carefully before enrolling so you understand the payment terms, scheduling expectations, and expiration policy.
